"Shipping is taking way too long"
I’m still waiting on my order and the tracking info barely updates, so I have no idea where it actually is. At this point I don’t really trust customer service to give me a straight answer either, which makes the whole thing even more frustrating.

"Not as rainproof as I thought"
I wore this in steady rain and it got wet quickly. Like, really quickly. I was expecting it to hold up better, but it just didn’t keep the rain out the way I hoped

"good gear, but kinda pricey"
the gear works like it should and i haven’t had any real issues with it. but for what it costs, i expected a little more. it’s not bad at all, just feels a bit overpriced for what you get.

"Warm but doesn’t get sweaty"
I wore my kuiu layers on a chilly morning hike and didn’t expect them to keep me as warm as they did . Once I started climbing and working up a sweat , they still breathed really well and I never felt soaked or clammy . Happy with them so far .

"Honestly, super light and packs tiny"
I was surprised by how lightweight this is. It packs down really small too, so it’s easy to toss in a bag without taking up much space.

"Pretty comfortable, I think"
It fits comfortably enough and I can move around in it easily. I was kind of expecting it to feel softer, though. Overall, it’s decent, just maybe not quite as cozy as I thought it would be

"Good gear, but maybe I expected a little more"
I’ve picked up a couple of things from KUIU, and overall I’d say the quality is solid. The jacket is nice and light and has worked well for me, but after a few trips one of the zippers started feeling a little rough. The pants have held up okay too, though they showed wear a bit sooner than I thought they would. Maybe it’s just me being picky, but for the price, I was expecting the durability to be a little better. Still good gear, just not perfect.

"Fit was almost spot on"
I tried the jacket on and my first reaction was, “Oh, this actually fits well.” The overall fit was good on me, just the sleeves were a little longer than I’d like
